About Me

Hello and welcome!  My name is Chip and I am a Liverpool wedding photographer. What started out as an unusually interesting hobby turned into a very fulfilling career and passion of mine.

A lot of friends ask “Why do you shoot weddings?”. My usual answer is because of people. I love being around people in love and being able to tell their unique and captivating story. Every wedding has a different feel and those stories should be told the best way possible. Wedding photography is not just randomly taken pictures by a random person. It is about the engaging story about two people in love.

I love what I do and I think it shows in my work. My usual wedding day is 12 to 14 hours and I sometimes stay even more. You don’t feel tired and you don’t really want to leave when you love what you do. I stay all day at every wedding and it is a way of saying thanks for inviting me to be a part of your most magical day. Most photographers offer 6 to 8 hours coverage but I feel so limited by that, it means missing some very important moments from your special day.

It is a very intimate experience – you are invited to be part of the family for a day and feeling of being welcome charges me with creativity and excitement. I’ve been shooting weddings for the last 5 years and I still feel that I might just have the best job in the world!

I give my all to each and every wedding I photograph. I believe that every beautiful story should be told in its own unique way – without set poses and without copying someone else’s big day. I don’t have a set of poses I repeat at every wedding and a list of shots I need to take at every wedding. Each day is different and I have to adjust and adapt to the ever changing wedding day scenario. Your wedding is unique and it deserves its unique story and creative storytelling.

I started photographing weddings in 2010 in America before deciding to move back to Europe and start fresh. When we meet you might notice my accent is a bit unusual and constantly morphing between American and proper English, but I still find it hard to use “mobile” instead of a “cell phone”…
